One of the sacred place on Route 66 is the 66 Diner.

Route 66 is a highway that has become a song and a novel. Now when the highway has replaced it, American travelers drive around the remains of Route 66 and miss the old days. The national highway that was established in the 1920s becomes the object of nostalgia. That is the United States.

One of the sacred places which touring travelers visited is the restaurant in Albuquerque, known as the 66 Diner. It's 1950's architecture, but it looks like an Art Deco homage. One of the designs that characterize Art Deco is a passenger ship. When the neon lights of 66 Diner are lit, it looks like a berthed passenger ship, and the linear neon, streamlined appearance, windows, and vault-shaped ceiling are also images of a ship.

I imagined that it opened all night from the architectural image and collected quests as a place with an "adult" atmosphere. In actuality, the restaurant closes at 10 pm and does not serve alcohol. That is healthy. However, as for the food, its amount was too much, and it used too much oil and only the raw vegetables. It is not very healthy, that is, very American.
